In conjunction with IOC’s 100th anniversary, the “Centennial Trophy” was given in honour of the person who had done the most to promote the Olympic Movement. Its recipient was the late Mr. Thong Poh Nyen, one of the founding members of OCM in 1953. He became OCM’s third Hon. Secretary, serving in that capacity for 32 years. He is also amongst a handful of officials in the region who helped establish the SEA Games.
