Loo Kum Zee (PJK) was born on 2nd December 1974. He is a Malaysian high jumper. He attended secondary school in SMJK Sam Tet, Ipoh, Perak. He is the youngest in the family. He is married to Hii Sieu Ngiik a former 100m Hurdler National record holder in 1991 to 1998. They are blessed with 2 beautiful children, a boy and a girl. He participated and represented Perak from 1991 to 2003 (Senior Level) and also represented Malaysia from 1991 to 2003.

Participation at many games i.e. Sea Games (1991 to 2003), Asian Games (1994 to 2002), Commonwealth Games(1994 to 1998) and also competed at the 1996 Olympic Games, but did not reach the final. His personal best jump is 2.24 metres, achieved in December 1995 in Chiangmai. He was the Gold Medalist holder at SEA Games for 5 continues years from 1995 to 2003. In 1998, he won Bronze at the Asian Games. At the Asian Track & Field, he retained Bronze Medal for the year 1995,1998,2002, and 2003. He was also honored by the State (Perak) for being the most promising athlete (1995) and athlete of the year (1996).
