Nurul Huda Baharin was born on 17th August 1973 at Alor Setar, Kedah. She worked in the Royal Malaysian Police from 1995 to 2006. She started representing Malaysia as a member of National Shooting team from 1995 to 2006. She won the gold medal for Air Rifle event at the 1998 Commonwealth Games held in Kuala Lumpur and make set a new Games Record. It was her best achievement throughout her shooting career from 1995 to 2006. She also broke some of the national records in individual and team events. At 2006, he won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne. She also competed in 4 SEA Games from 1997 to 2006 picking up a total of 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. She had participated in 23 National Championship from 1999 to 2005 and had been awarded the Olympian of the Year Awards 1998, PDRM Sportswomen Awards for 2002 and 2003. Being passionate for the development of Shooting, she now served as a coach for shooting at National Sports Council from 2008 until present.
