Mr. Omar Bin Saad was born on October 1949 and was a member of the National Cycling Team that competed in the individual Road Race and 100km Team Time Trial events at the 1972 Olympic Games Munich. He also won a silver medal at Asian Games Bangkok 1970 for Team Road Race event. At Asian Championsip 1971 he contributed 2 bronze medals in Individual Road Race and Team Road Race events.

One year later, when Malaysia hosting the SEAP Games 1971, he contributed a bronze medal in 200km Individual Mass Start event and a silver medal in 4800m Individual Start Race event in SEAP Games 1945 held in Bangkok. After retired as athlete, now he actively contributing to the development of cycling by holds the positions of Deputy President from 2010 untill now. He is also a qualified international Cycling Commissar.
