IOC-Trophy-1987

The first Malaysian to win an IOC trophy was national swimmer Ms. Nurul Huda Abdullah, for her combined excellence in both athletic and academic fields. She has won a total of 22 Gold medals at the SEA Games from 1985-1989, as well as 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals at the Asian Games. She has also broken 6 SEA Games and 3 Asian Games records.

While accomplishing these impressive sporting feats she was a student of Psychology in Brisbane and Melbourne, Australia.
